
Recently, the Starke County Sheriff’s Office 911 Communications Center shared call statistics from March with the public.
Starke County Sheriff’s Office Dispatchers recorded a total of 1,921 calls for service in March; which is a 26.46% increase from February calls. 358 of the calls were to 911, 670 of the calls were non-emergent, and 876 of the calls were initiated by officers in situations such as traffic stops, warrant checks, and other similar scenarios.
Throughout the month of March, Starke County recorded 178 fire incidents and 268 EMS incidents. Mondays were the busiest days in March for Starke County Dispatch, with 508 incidents happening on Mondays throughout the month.
